We’re always looking for new beauty products to try, and we carry hair care products and skin care products from a variety of brands in our salons. These are a few of the products we love the most and use on our clients.

Hairstory

Hairstory does what larger and more complicated product lines dream of: create healthy, effortless hair using pure and simple ingredients. The foundation of Hairstory’s line is New Wash, which replaces both shampoo and conditioner with a soap-free cleanser that removes dirt and oil from the surface of the hair and scalp while retaining the beneficial oils contained within. When you start with healthy hair, you don’t need many more products. The Hairstory Starter Kit can help you transition from using shampoo, and a New Wash subscription can save you time and money.

CRUDE

CRUDE is a skin care system with oil cleansing at its core. Free of sulfates, parabens, artificial colors, and fragrances, its gentle cleansing doesn’t strip, strain, or stress the skin. Instead, it heals and protects skin without harming the natural microbiome. Each product has multiple uses (for example, the cleansers double as moisturizers), making skincare that is simple and functional. If you’re new to oil cleansing, we recommend the Starter Kit.

K18

Think you need a miracle to fix damaged hair? Consider K18 the answer to your prayers. K18 reverses damage and strengthens hair with proteins and peptides. If you have chemically damaged or color-treated hair, we recommend the K18 Masque, a leave-in treatment that replaces conditioner and is clinically proven to repair hair from the inside. Apply it to freshly washed (no conditioner!), towel-dried hair, wait four minutes, then style as usual. We’ve seen it improve the frizzy ends of bleached hair in as few as two treatments.

Cult+King

Can a hair product company change the world? Cult+King is doing their best to try. According to their manifesto, “All of our decisions are based around three things; defending the planet, supporting independent salons and barbershops, and making people look rad without poisoning them in the process.” Hey, that’s what we’re all about, too! Our favorite Cult+King products are Tonik, Balm (use it on your hair and as a body lotion), Jelly, and Setspray. Oway

Oway is short for “organic way” and their products are produced in the strictest organic way we’ve found. They grow medicinal herbs on their biodynamic farm in Italy using no chemicals and following the natural rhythms of nature to ensure quality without compromise.
